It’s not too often that I would sign a band most people don’t know and that doesn’t even have a song on the radio yet to be part of our Jingle Jam concert.  Vedera is worth making the exception.  They’ve been touring non-stop since releasing their first EP in 2004, most recently on the road with Matt Nathanson and The Fray, winning over fans one at a time.  Kristin May, the band’s vocalist, sings with incredible passion and an amazing range.  It doesn’t hurt that she’s pretty darn cute, too … but, sorry guys, she’s married to the band’s guitarist. 

Their major-label release Stages (Epic Records) is out now and they’re poised to hit the airwaves with “Satisfy” as the debut single.  Check it out and let me know if we should play them on Z99.5 … If you’re lucky enough to have Jingle Jam tickets, I believe this will be a band that you can brag about seeing first!

Vedera joins The Elms, Five for Fighting, Barenaked Ladies, & All American Rejects on December 9 at the Murat Theatre.  Doors open at 5:45pm, Show begins at 6:30pm.  Sold out, listen to win!
