Snooki Was Taken Into Custody After Crashing Into a Cop Car in Italy

SNOOKI ran into a problem with the cops in Florence, Italy, yesterday . . . literally . . . when she got into a car accident with a police car.

–TMZ says that Snooki rammed her car into the back of the cop car, with DEENA riding shotgun.  A member of the “Jersey Shore”production crew was also in the car.

–Fortunately, the accident wasn’t serious, but the two officers that were in the police car went to the hospital with minor injuries like “whiplash, bruises and cuts.”  Snooki and Deena refused medical treatment.  No one else was hurt.

–Interestingly enough, it wasn’t a coincidence that there was a police car in front of them.  “People” magazine says the cruiser was an ESCORT that had been provided for their safety.

–Contrary to misleading reports online, Snooki was NOT arrested or “taken into custody.”  She just went to the police station to fill out an accident report.

–”Sources” say, quote, “zero alcohol was involved.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Might Get Married After All

BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE might end up getting married soon after all.

–In a new interview with “USA Weekend”, Brad says, quote, “The kids ask about marriage.  It’s meaning more and more to them. So it’s something we’ve got to look at.”

–Brad and Angelina have previously used the excuse that they’re waiting until gay marriage is legal before they make that level of commitment themselves.

–Elsewhere in the interview, Brad says that the family is pretty nomadic . . . but he adds, quote, “Angie and I do everything we can to carve out some semblance of normalcy for [the kids], to re-create the kinds of moments that were special for us.

–”It’s not unusual for the kids to be covered in paint.  We have mud fights.  It’s chaos from morning until the lights go out, and sometimes after that.”

–But they also take time for themselves . . . quote, “There are no secrets at our house.  We tell the kids, ‘Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.’  They go, ‘Eww, gross!’  But we demand it.”

Someone Hacked PBS . . . and Posted a Story on Its Website Saying That Tupac Was Alive and Living in New Zealand

There was an article on PBS’ website over the weekend, reporting that TUPAC had been discovered “alive and well” in New Zealand.  But as it turns out, that’s NOT the case.  Obviously.

–PBS says that their site was hacked, and the phony story was planted.

–The story said, quote, “Prominent rapper Tupac has been found alive and well in a small resort in New Zealand, locals report.

–”The small town . . . unnamed due to security risks . . . allegedly housed Tupac and Biggie Smalls (another rapper) for several years.

–”One local, David File, recently passed away, leaving evidence and reports of Tupac’s visit in a diary, which he requested be shipped to his family in the U.S.”

The “Hangover” Sequel Made $137 Million In Its First Five Days of Release . . . And Contributed to the Best Memorial Day Weekend Box Office of All Time

“The Hangover Part 2″ owned the Memorial Day weekend box office, pulling in $137 million in its first five days of release.  It’s the best opening ever for an R-rated movie.  The weekend’s other major debut, “Kung Fu Panda 2″, made $68 million in that time.

–Overall, it was the best Memorial Day weekend box office of all time.  Added up, Americans spent $280 million at the box office this weekend . . . beating the 2007 Friday-through-Monday record of $255 million.

–Here are this week’s Top 5 movies . . .

1.)  (NEW)  “The Hangover Part 2″, $106 million.  Up to $137 million since Thursday.

2.)  (NEW)  “Kung Fu Panda 2″, $62.2 million.  Up to $68 million since Thursday.

Lindsay Lohan is Officially Under House Arrest For the Next Month

LINDSAY LOHAN is officially under house arrest, as of yesterday morning.

–Lindsay surrendered herself to the Lynwood Correctional Facility yesterday morning at 5:00 A.M., where it was determined that she was eligible for home confinement.

–She was fitted with an ankle bracelet and sent packing in less than an hour.  A Sheriff’s Department spokesman says, quote, “She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times.”

–Lindsay’s bracelet does NOT test for drugs or alcohol.  It just keeps tabs on her whereabouts, so they know she’s not leaving her house.  If she sets it off, Lindsay gets automatic jail time.

–And when they say Lindsay is confined to the “interior premises”, they mean it.  She literally can’t go outside.

–Lindsay was sentenced to FOUR MONTHS . . . but she was given a release date of June 29th . . . which means she’ll only serve ONE month.

Scotty McCreery Isn’t Dating Lauren Alaina . . . But They Are “Really Close Friends” Who Shared “A Lot of Special Moments”

For whatever reason, everyone seems to want to make 17-year-old SCOTTY MCCREERY and 16-year-old LAUREN ALAINA a couple.

–Perhaps that’s because they were “American Idol’s” youngest Final Two ever . . . they were both country singers from the South . . . and they definitely seemed to have a little “chemistry.”  Lauren even showered Scotty with kisses on the finale.

–But they insist they’re just friends.

–When asked if the kisses meant they were dating, Scotty said, quote, “Oh, no.  We’ve been getting that question a lot today.  It’s more like the brother-sister thing.  She told me before the show that she was gonna do that, kind of like a joke.

–”She’s a character.  But she’s lovely, we’re really close friends.”

–In another interview, Scotty said, quote, “Every day’s been a special moment with Lauren . . . we’ve been together a whole lot.  We talk about a lot of things.  We’ve had a lot of special moments . . . [but] there’s no romance.”

–As for Lauren, she said, quote, “I gave him a kiss, yes, in case anyone is worried.  I love Scotty . . . he’s my best friend, one of my best.”

Lady Gaga Claims She Went Bankrupt Funding Her Monster Ball Tour

LADY GAGA is willing to go BANKRUPT for the experience of standing on a stage . She says she spent ALL her money funding her Monster Ball Tour.

–She tells the “Financial Times”, quote, “The only big things I’ve purchased are my dad’s heart valve and a Rolls Royce for my parents, for their anniversary . . .

–”And that was only because my dad had a Lady Gaga license plate on our old car and it was making me crazy because he was getting followed everywhere, so I bought him a new car.

–”Other than that, I put everything in the show and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of the Monster Ball.”

This time Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis head to Thailand, where Ed Helms is getting married.  But when they wake up after the spiked toast, Zach’s head is shaved, Ed’s got a Mike Tyson-style face tattoo, and they’ve somehow lost the bride’s little brother.

–Ken Jeong shows up again, and Tyson does another cameo.  He even recorded a cover of the 1984 Murray Head one-hit-wonder“One Night in Bangkok”.

#2.)  “Kung Fu Panda 2“ (PG)

Gary Oldman is the new villain . . . a peacock who’s figured out how to defeat kung fu, and wants to conquer all of China.  The only thing standing in his way is Po, the chubby panda played by Jack Black.

Scotty McCreery Is Your New “American Idol”

–17-year-old country singer SCOTTY MCCREERY beat out 16-year-old country singer LAUREN ALAINA in the unofficial Year of the Country Singer on “American Idol”.

–RYAN SEACREST said that 122.4 MILLION votes were cast, which is a record . . . and more than 750 million votes were cast throughout the season.

–After the announcement, Scotty said, quote, “It’s been a year since Lauren and I tried out.  We’ve been together since Day One and we’re going to stay together.  Never in my wildest dreams . . . I’ve got to thank the Lord first, he got me here.”

–Even though she didn’t win, Lauren did lose some weight.  On Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday, Lauren said she lost 20 pounds and three dress sizes during the competition.

Oprah’s Goodbye

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” finished its incredible 25-year run yesterday, and as expected, it was a rather subdued affair . . . or at least, there wasn’t an endless parade of celebrities streaming through the door.

–She just talked about knowing what makes you unique . . . and how to make a difference in your own life.

–She didn’t say goodbye but rather “until we meet again” and then walked off stage to the song “25 years”, a special version of “10 Years” by Paul Simon.

The Kardashian Sisters are Writing a Novel

KIM, KOURTNEY and KHLOE KARDASHIAN are writing a novel, and you’ll never believe what it’s about.

–Their publisher says it takes a look inside, quote, “the lives of three gorgeous celebrity sisters, their complicated relationships with Hollywood, each other, and the glamorous lives they lead in front of the cameras and behind the scenes.”

–Oh, here’s the best part:  They’re asking their FANS to come up with the title.  And if they pick YOUR suggestion, you get your name mentioned in the book.

Cheryl Cole Is No Longer an “X Factor” Judge, Because Her Accent Was Too British for America?

“X Factor” has already lost a judge.  TMZ says British singer CHERYL COLE is out.

–NICOLE SCHERZINGER will replace her at the judges’ table.

–Nicole was originally supposed to co-host.

–So what happened to Cheryl?

–Supposedly, the producers were concerned that her accent was TOO British for Americans to understand.

–TMZ says there was also a “lack of chemistry” between Cheryl and PAULA ABDUL . . . and it was much easier to send Cheryl back across the pond than it was to separate Simon and Paula . . . again.

–No one connected with the show has confirmed or commented on this report.

The Guest for the Final Episode of “Oprah” Will Be: No One

The final episode of “Oprah” taped yesterday and will air later TODAY . . . and some details have hit the Internet.  Obviously, the biggest question is:  Who’s her final guest?  Well, the answer is:  NO ONE.

–Oprah told the audience that she wanted her last show to be about her fans . . . quote, “This is my love letter to you.”

–But of course, it was also about herself, too.  An audience member told “Access Hollywood”, quote, “It was just her the whole time, a recap of what she believed in, what we’ve given her as viewers and what she hopes she has given us.”

–Someone else said, quote, “[Oprah] said, ‘This isn’t goodbye.  This is until we meet again.’ . . . [There was] a lot of crying and hugs, crying and hugs.”

And The Dancing With The Stars Winner is…

– After the rest of the season’s contestants and a string of musical guests, it was Hines Ward who received the series’ coveted mirror-ball trophy alongside partner Kym Johnson.

–”You know, starting this competition, I never thought I’d be in the finals,” the NFL champion told host Tom Bergeron. “But I owe it all to Kym. She’s an amazing teacher, and I want to thank the judges for giving us the constructive criticism to help me get better each week. Also, I want to thank all the fans.”

–Before Hines was announced as the champ, the last couples duked it out in the competition’s final dance round, where all three celebrity contestants wowed the judges. Chelsey Kane performed the waltz (30/30), Kirstie Alley grooved to the cha-cha (30/30) and Hines danced the samba (30/30).

The Release of “The Hangover Part 2″ Could Not Be Stopped by the Guy Who Did Mike Tyson’s Face Tattoo

–The tattoo artist said he owns the COPYRIGHT on that design . . . and the filmmakers infringed on that copyright by having ED HELMS’character get a similar tattoo in the movie.  In addition to stopping the movie, he was also looking for some CASH.

–Yeah, it all seems TOTALLY ridiculous.  And yesterday, a judge ruled that the movie will open Friday as scheduled.

–However . . . she’s allowing the copyright infringement lawsuit to continue.

–She said the tattoo artist has, quote, “a strong likelihood of ultimately succeeding on the merits of the case” . . . but that stopping the movie from opening this weekend could be financially disastrous to Warner Brothers and theater owners.

–If this guy DOES succeed in proving copyright infringement, he could actually stop “The Hangover Part 2″ from being distributed on DVD, cable, on-demand services and other outlets at a later date.

–Warner Bros. sent two of its top executives to St. Louis on Monday to testify during a federal court hearing on whether a judge will issue an injunction preventing the release of the sequel.

–S. Victor Whitmill is seeking an injunction on the grounds that the facial tattoo worn in the film by Ed Helms violates a copyright in the original work Whitmill created for Mike Tyson.

–The Hollywood Reporter says according to sources who attended the hearing, the Warners execs told the court that the studio has spent roughly $80 million on marketing the sequel to 2009’s The Hangover and that blocking the film’s debut in theaters would cause irreparable financial harm.

Here We Go Again: Donald Trump Says He Won’t Rule Out Jumping Back Into the Presidential Race If a Decent Republican Candidate Doesn’t Emerge

DONALD TRUMP said yesterday on Fox News that he won’t rule out jumping back into the presidential race, if the right Republican candidate doesn’t emerge.

–He said, quote, “Who knows?  Stranger things have happened.  I look at these Republican candidates and I’m saying, ‘What’s going on?’  This country cannot afford to lose this election.”

–He added, quote, “I can’t rule out anything.  The country is so important;  it’s so vital that we choose the right person.  And at this moment, I don’t see that person.”

Amazon.com had a special one-day promotion yesterday . . . where you could download LADY GAGA’S new album “Born This Way” for 99 cents.  Yes, the full album . . . all 14 tracks.

–This was for the download only.  The CD version was going for $7.99.  (–For what it’s worth, iTunes has the album set at $11.99, or $15.99 for the deluxe edition.)

–Not surprisingly, Amazon was slammed with traffic, and some people were having trouble getting their download.  But Amazon is making good on their offer.

Russell Brand Wasn’t Allowed Into Japan Because of His Criminal Record

KATY PERRY tried to bring husband RUSSELL BRAND with her when her tour hit Japan the other day . . . but they wouldn’t let him into the country because he has a CRIMINAL RECORD.

–She Tweeted, quote, “My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place.  #tokyodreamcrushed.”

–Then she added, quote, “It was for priors from over 10 years ago!”

–Russell was arrested numerous times back in the day . . . for such offenses as drug possession and public indecency.  He’s sober now.

–Russell actually took a photo of himself while in custody, before they sent him home . . . and he posted it on Twitter along with the caption, “Planning escape from Japanese custody.  It’s bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick.”

Wrestling Legend Randy “Macho Man” Savage Died in a Car Accident Friday Morning

As you have no doubt heard by now, pro wrestling legend RANDY “MACHO MAN” SAVAGE died in a car accident Friday in Tampa, Florida.  He was only 58 years old.

–Savage apparently suffered a heart attack behind the wheel, left the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree.  He died at a nearby hospital.  Savage’s wife Lynn was in the passenger seat.  She escaped with only minor injuries.

(–Randy and his wife had only been married a year.  Their anniversary was May 10th.)

–Both Savage and his wife were wearing their seatbelts.  Police say alcohol was NOT a factor.  It’s not clear whether it was the heart attack or the crash that killed Savage.

The Fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” Has Already Made $346 Million Worldwide

As expected, the fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie was the best opening weekend of the year.  It made $90.1 million in the U.S., and beat out the year’s previous best opening, “Fast Five”, by $4 million.

–But it didn’t do nearly as well as the last two “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies.  “Dead Man’s Chest” opened to $135.6 million in 2006, and “At World’s End” made $114.7 million its opening weekend in 2007.  The first one, “The Curse of the Black Pearl”, made $46.6 million its opening weekend back in 2003.

–But this one absolutely OWNED the foreign box office.  It pulled in $256 million outside the U.S., which is the largest foreign opening of any movie EVER.  And when combined with the $90 million it made stateside, it’s the fourth best worldwide debut of all time.

–Spike VP Casey Patterson says, quote, “Decade of Hotness is Guys Choice’s ultimate term of endearment for a woman that we just can’t get enough of.”

–Jennifer will be on hand to collect the award.  The ceremony airs June 10th.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Putting His Acting Career On Hold

So much for “Terminator 5″.  ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER announced yesterday that he’s putting his acting career on hold.

–His attorney issued a statement yesterday, saying that he’s put a stop to, quote, “all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated.”

–He added, quote, “Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines .

–Unfortunately, Arnold’s career hiatus also puts his cartoon show, “The Governator”, on the shelf.

–The people behind that brilliant idea issued a statement yesterday saying, quote, “In light of recent events, [we] have chosen to not go forward with the ‘Governator’ project.”

–It’s probably for the best, given that Arnold’s character was supposed to fight crime with the help of his wife, MARIA SHRIVER, and their four kids.

Kesha Wants Fans to Send Their Teeth to Her . . . So She Can Make a Necklace

A fan recently sent KESHA a tooth . . . and that gave her an idea:  She wants to make an entire necklace out of her fans’ teeth.

–She recently posted this on Twitter . . . quote, “I’ve received 1 tooth from a fan. I made it into a necklace. But now I really wanna make a fan tooth necklace to wear to an awards show.

Lady Gaga Has Unseated Oprah at the Top of the Celebrity 100 Power List

LADY GAGA is officially more powerful than OPRAH WINFREY.  At least that’s what “Forbes” magazine says in its annual Celebrity 100 power list.

–While Oprah made more money over the past year . . . $290 million to $90 million . . . the Celebrity 100 list looks at other factors as well . . . like a star’s overall influence and media exposure.  And Gaga pretty much reigns supreme there.

–She’s got more than 10 million Twitter followers and 32 million Facebook fans . . . and she sold 1 million digital downloads of her single “Born This Way” in just five days.  And let’s face it, she’s EVERYWHERE.

–So Oprah fell to second, and she was followed by the guy who seems to be constantly competing with Gaga in terms of media exposure:  JUSTIN BIEBER.  He made $53 million over the past year, if you can believe that.

–He also holds a YouTube record:  More than 500 MILLION people have watched his “Baby” video.

–Believe it or not, TIGER WOODS is still a power player.  He ranks 6th . . . which is down only one spot from last year.

Maria Shriver Has Hired Lawyers

–Not surprisingly, Maria is rumored to be moving forward with divorcing ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER.

–ARNOLD’S wife and mistress were pregnant at the same time.  In fact, MILDRED PATRICIA BAENA gave birth to her son just FIVE DAYS after MARIA SHRIVER gave birth to Christopher Schwarzenegger.

–The question on everyone’s mind regarding this whole scandal is, “How did ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER manage to keep this kid a secret for 13 years?”  And I think we’ve all pretty much ruled out GOOD ACTING.  So what does that leave us?

–Quite simply, he DIDN’T TELL ANYBODY.  Obviously, MARIA SHRIVER and the kids were completely blindsided when they finally found out.

–Sources say nobody in Arnold’s inner circle knew anything about the kid, either . . . not even his closest associates or aides.

The Karate Kid Is Complaining About the “Dancing with the Stars” Judges

–RALPH MACCHIO, who was eliminated this week, felt a little short-changed by the judges . . . and spoke out about it yesterday.

–Ralph said he “felt circled as the one [contestant] that didn’t get praise and built-up like the others did.”  He said he “felt like the playing field wasn’t level for some reason” and that he “had a feeling” he’d be booted.

–He added that the judges’ comments to him this week were, quote, “rude and disrespectful.”  Ralph came away with the lowest scores of the night.

A Ton of Celebrities Will Appear on the Final Week of “Oprah”

The second- and third-to-last episodes of “Oprah” filmed yesterday at the United Center . . . the arena where the Chicago Bulls play.  And a lot of celebrities stopped by to surprise Oprah, and wish her well.  They included:

–The Black Eyed Peas, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle, Jamie Foxx, Madonna, Beyoncé, Michael Jordan, Jerry Seinfeld, Maria Shriver and of course Gayle King.

–The two-part special will air Monday and Tuesday, and the finale is Wednesday.

What We Know . . . And Don’t Know . . . About Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Former Mistress and Love Child

–As Arnold said, this happened over a decade ago.  The word is that the other woman worked for Arnold and MARIA SHRIVER for 20 years . . . and just retired in January.

–A “source” told E! Online the woman was not involved in the care of Arnold and Maria’s kids . . . nor was she the house manager or Maria’s personal assistant.

–Yesterday, a few sites identified a woman named Mildred Patricia Baena as Arnold’s baby-mama.  She’s 50 years old and she made $1,200 a week as a HOUSEKEEPER for Arnold and Maria.

–So-called “sources” say Patty started PURSUING Arnold in the late 1990s . . . and told friends that they would have UNPROTECTED SEX at the house during the day.

–She didn’t actually tell Arnold her son was his until the boy was a toddler.

–Several sites have posted pictures of Mildred . . . who goes by PATTY . . . as well as pictures of the child in question, with his face blurred to protect his identity.

–The boy is about 10 or 11 now, and TMZ says his similarities to his dad are, quote, “striking” . . . especially his mouth and teeth.

Miley Cyrus Gets Her SIXTH Tattoo on Sunday

MILEY CYRUS got her sixth tattoo on Sunday in Brazil.  It’s on her right wrist. Looks like it hurt…see the pic below!

–There’s no word what she got, but the artist who did it for her told reporters she came in asking for something that reminded her of, quote, “a safe place.”

Jon Cryer Is “Jazzed” About “Two and a Half Men” Coming Back

JON CRYER issued a statement saying he’s JAZZED that “Two and a Half Men” isn’t getting canceled.

–He said, quote, “I’m jazzed about the news this morning that ‘Two and a Half Men’ is coming back!  For all the rest of the cast and crew I’m sure they are equally excited.”

–Jon was classy enough to give CHARLIE SHEEN some props before expressing his excitement at ASHTON KUTCHER joining the cast.

–He said, quote, “I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons.  I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, and I will miss him.  But I’m also looking forward to this new beginning.”

–He added, quote, “Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show.

Production begins this summer, and the show will be back on the air in the fall.

Jesse James Isn’t Sure Sandra Bullock Was Sincere When She Made All Those Speeches About Him Being Her “Rock”

-Jesse was on “Piers Morgan Tonight” Friday, and he basically accused SANDRA BULLOCK of LYING when she said during all those award shows last year that he was her “rock”.

–He admitted that she might have meant it, quote, “to a certain extent” . . . but then he asked Piers what Sandra does for a living.  He prodded Piers on that point until he said she’s an ACTOR.

–Then Jesse very smugly replied, quote, “Oh, okay.  Cool.”

Rebecca Black Is NOT Pregnant

There’s a rumor going around that 14-year-old REBECCA BLACK . . . the singer of THE song of 2011, “Friday” . . . is pregnant.

–Obviously, she’s not.  Yesterday she Tweeted, quote, “I thought it was May 15th … not April Fool’s Day.  I’m absolutely NOT pregnant.”

Jenna Fischer IS Pregnant

JENNA FISCHER . . . a.k.a. Pam from “The Office” . . . is pregnant.  This will be the first child for Jenna and her husband, Lee Kirk.

Kym Johnson from Suffered a Neck Injury During “Dancing With the Stars” Practice, But She’ll Be Able to Keep Competing

KYM JOHNSON . . . HINES WARD’S partner on “Dancing With the Stars” . . . suffered a neck injury while rehearsing on Friday. She fell, but there are no other specifics on what happened.

–Kym was taken to the hospital, and some doctors checked her out.  She was released later . . . in a NECK BRACE.  But it sounds like that’s just precautionary.  Her rep said, quote, “She’s doing OK, better safe than sorry.”

–And Kym posted a message on Facebook saying, quote, “I’m a little shaken up [and] sore but I’ll be fine.”  She IS expected to dance with Hines on tonight’s show.

“Dancing with the Stars” [Performance Show] . . . 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. on ABC.  Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane, Ralph Macchio and Hines Ward each do two dances.

–“Castle” [3rd Season Finale] . . . 10:00 to 11:00 P.M. on ABC.

–“Chuck” [4th Season Finale] . . . 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. on NBC.

(Chuck has been RENEWED for a FIFTH Season! However, NBC announced it’ll be the FINAL season, it will only be 13 episodes and it’s moving to Friday nights.  That’s the worst good news I’ve heard in awhile!)
